Nicole Samuel has revealed that Love Island bosses reached out to her just one day after she and boyfriend Ciaran Davies announced their breakup. The couple, who finished as runners-up on Love Island last summer after forming a strong connection in the Majorca villa, confirmed in early December that they had parted ways.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Nicole spoke candidly about the split and revealed that ITV wasted no time in offering her a spot on the current Love Island: All Stars series. However, she admitted that it felt “too soon” for her to jump back into the dating scene so quickly after the breakup.
“ITV were straight on the phone to me, but I just didn’t feel ready,” she explained. “It was still raw, and I didn’t want to rush into anything.”
Nicole’s decision highlights the emotional challenges reality stars face after a public relationship ends, as well as the pressure to maintain an active presence in the entertainment world. Despite the offer, she chose to take some time to focus on herself and process the change in her personal life.
While she declined the opportunity to join All Stars, fans will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on her next moves as she continues to navigate her post-Love Island journey.
Speaking at the Fake Bake party in London, Nicole Samuel shared more about her decision to turn down the offer to join Love Island: All Stars. She explained, “I got asked to do it this year, but it is too soon. We announced the breakup on the Monday, and the next day they were in contact. It was just too soon, I need time to heal.”
Nicole emphasized that she wasn’t eager to jump into another relationship or situation too quickly, stating, “I’m not rushing from one thing to another boy. Mentally and physically, I couldn’t do it. I’m still processing the breakup.”
Her thoughtful approach to healing and focusing on herself in the aftermath of the split with Ciaran Davies shows the importance she places on taking time to recover before making any major decisions about her future.#newsafro_
