Andy Carroll has broken his silence on his new relationship with make-up artist Lou Teasdale, taking a subtle dig at his ex-fiancée, Billi Mucklow. Speaking about his romance with Teasdale, Carroll expressed how she has introduced him to “a different world” and described her as someone he “needs in his life.”
Carroll and Mucklow, who share three children, ended their engagement earlier this year amid reports of tension following Carroll’s stag do controversies in Dubai. Now, with Teasdale, Carroll appears to be embracing a fresh start, praising her influence and the positive impact she has had on his life. This candid revelation has sparked speculation about the state of his relationship with Mucklow and his hopes for the future.
Andy Carroll, 35, opened up about his new relationship with celebrity make-up artist Lou Teasdale, 41, just weeks after his split from TOWIE star Billi Mucklow, 36, with whom he shares three children. The former Liverpool striker, who had been with Mucklow for 11 years, revealed that he had secretly separated from her earlier in the year before going public with Teasdale at a Halloween party.
Speaking to The Times, Carroll gushed about the positive influence Teasdale has had on his life, sharing how she has shown him “a different world.” He praised her charitable work, including her volunteering with Choose Love and her efforts to support the isolated elderly every Christmas. Carroll also highlighted her advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights, noting, “She says to me, ‘Why would you hate anyone?'” and expressing that such values are something he truly needs in his life.
Andy Carroll was reportedly caught entering his former home in Essex without informing his estranged wife, Billi Mucklow. According to The Sun, Carroll waited until Mucklow had left before going inside to collect some of his belongings. However, the home’s security cameras, which were connected to Mucklow’s phone, alerted her to his presence.
A source revealed that Mucklow was “understandably shocked and upset” as she watched the situation unfold on her phone. The source added that Mucklow felt the whole thing was “sneaky,” especially since she hadn’t realized Carroll had returned from France.
The couple, who married in 2022 after an eight-year engagement, announced their split earlier this year and are currently in the process of selling their £8.5 million mansion, once owned by Sir Rod Stewart.
