Jennifer Lopez carried an oversized brown reptilian Hermès Birkin bag—valued between $5,000 and $500,000—into the Beverly Hills Hotel for a Sunday lunch with friends. The 55-year-old pop icon showcased her toned midriff in a white long-sleeve crop top, distressed blue jeans, and stiletto heels as she stepped from the passenger side of a white convertible.
In a LIVE with Kelly and Mark appearance in May, Jennifer shared that her 5’5″ frame remains in “fighting shape,” adding, “I’m the thinnest I’ve ever been,” despite her age.
Jennifer Lopez shielded her made-up face with oversized Jackie O-style sunglasses and wore her shoulder-length, layered hair down for her sunlit outing. She carried a large brown reptilian Hermès Birkin bag and sported a white long-sleeve crop top, distressed jeans, and stiletto heels.
The two-time Grammy nominee is set to relaunch her canceled summer tour next year, with plans to feature A-list guest singers. An insider recently told DailyMail.com that Lopez, who has her sights on an Oscar for her role in Unstoppable, aims to make next year “her best year ever,” determined to show resilience despite her well-publicized love life.
Unstoppable, directed by William Goldenberg, will hit select U.S. theaters on December 6, and Lopez has already received critical acclaim from Variety, THR, and Deadline for her emotional portrayal of single mother Judy Robles. Over the weekend, she posed with the real-life Judy at the AFI Fest screening in Hollywood. The film is executive produced by Lopez’s estranged husband, Ben Affleck, who also produced the upcoming Kiss of the Spider Woman remake, in which Lopez will take on the iconic triple role originally portrayed by Sônia Braga.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, which would have marked their second wedding anniversary, and the former couple is in the process of selling their $68M Beverly Hills estate. Known famously as “Bennifer,” Lopez and Affleck met in 2001 on the set of Gigli, had an abrupt split in 2004, and reconnected in early 2021.
Lopez, who shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, will also return to the rom-com genre, producing and starring in Netflix’s Office Romance alongside Brett Goldstein, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Kelly.
