Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a fresh legal challenge as Los Angeles prosecutors review allegations that could lead to new criminal charges against the music mogul.
The case centers on claims made by publicist Jonathan Hay, who filed a police report in September 2025 alleging that Combs sexually battered him during separate incidents in 2020 and 2021. According to officials, investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department completed their inquiry and recently submitted the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for review.
Hay initially reported the allegations to authorities in Largo, Florida, before the case was transferred to Los Angeles, where the alleged incidents are said to have occurred.
In his report, Hay claimed he was working on a remix project involving Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace’s son, CJ Wallace, when he frequently encountered Combs. Hay alleges that during one encounter in 2020, Combs engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior and threw a shirt at him. He further claims that a second incident occurred in March 2021 during a trip to Los Angeles, alleging that Combs forced a sexual act on him.
The District Attorney’s Office will now determine whether the evidence gathered by detectives is sufficient to support criminal charges.
The review comes as Combs continues serving a federal prison sentence after being convicted in 2025 of violating the Mann Act for transporting individuals across state lines for sexual purposes. He was acquitted of separate sex trafficking and racketeering charges in that case.
Representatives for Combs have not publicly responded to the latest allegations.#newsafro_
