Andre Berto is expressing support for fellow boxer Adrien Broner as he transitions away from the ring and into the world of online streaming, but he’s also urging him to move carefully as he navigates his new spotlight.
Broner, whose boxing career is largely behind him, has recently gained attention on the Kick streaming platform, where he’s been collaborating with content creator DeenTheGreat and building a growing audience with energetic and often unpredictable streams.
While Berto says he’s happy to see Broner active and back in the public eye, he admits he has some concerns about what he’s been seeing on camera. In particular, he pointed to heavy drinking and interactions with women during streams as behaviors that could quickly get Broner into trouble if not kept in check.
Berto revealed he recently checked in on Broner personally to make sure he’s doing well, saying he’s glad to see him “back up and in the light,” but also warning him to stay grounded and avoid situations that could put him in a compromising position.
He emphasized that the streaming world can be especially risky because people often push boundaries to get attention and viral moments, something he believes Broner needs to be cautious about.
Berto also warned that with renewed attention and potential financial opportunities coming Broner’s way, it will be important for him to stay disciplined and avoid repeating past struggles.
Although he doesn’t believe a return to boxing is realistic due to the physical toll Broner has taken over the years, Berto remains confident that he can still succeed in the entertainment space if he stays focused and makes better decisions moving forward.#newsafro_
