John Mulaney delivered one of the night’s most talked-about moments during Netflix’s Night Of Too Many Stars in Los Angeles after launching into a brutal comedic take-down of Robert F. Kennedy Jr..
Performing in front of a star-packed crowd hosted by Jon Stewart, Mulaney mocked the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services with a sharp impression that had the audience roaring with laughter. The event also featured appearances from comedy heavyweights including Conan O’Brien, Bill Burr, Steve Carell and Adam Sandler.
Mulaney kicked off the routine by poking fun at RFK Jr.’s past involvement with environmental activism and his work with the Hudson River-focused Riverkeepers organization. Mimicking Kennedy’s distinctive gravelly voice, the comedian joked about his efforts to clean up the polluted river through lawsuits against corporations and government agencies.
The stand-up set then took a more personal turn as Mulaney referenced past rumors involving Kennedy’s marriage to actress Cheryl Hines. He also criticized RFK Jr.’s handling of health-related issues, particularly his controversial views surrounding healthcare and measles, at one point bluntly calling him a “stupid f***” during the fiery performance.
RFK Jr. and Cheryl Hines have previously denied allegations of infidelity, and there has been no public response yet from Kennedy’s representatives regarding Mulaney’s remarks.#newsafro_
