Luke Rockhold may have the looks for Hollywood, but stepping into the spotlight as an actor is the last thing on his mind.
The former UFC star was recently spotted at Santos Studios in Newport, where he opened up about life beyond fighting—and made it clear he has no interest in pretending to be someone he’s not. For Rockhold, authenticity matters more than fame, and the idea of playing “fake characters” on screen just doesn’t sit right with him.
Although he hasn’t competed in MMA since 2022, and last appeared in a boxing match against Darren Till in 2025, Rockhold hasn’t completely stepped away from the fight world. He’s currently working closely with Khamzat Chimaev, helping him prepare for his upcoming clash with Sean Strickland at UFC 328. From the way Rockhold describes it, the training sessions are intense—and Chimaev looks more than ready for the challenge ahead.
As for a return to competition himself, Rockhold isn’t ruling it out entirely—but he’s not coming back for just anything. It would take an “astronomical payday” to lure him out of retirement.
For now, his focus lies elsewhere. Between ventures like Santos, Gameday Men’s Health, and Protein Candy, Rockhold is keeping busy building his brand and enjoying the freedom that comes with life outside the cage.
Hollywood may be calling, but Rockhold isn’t picking up.#newsafro_
