Kyrsten Sinema has found herself at the center of a legal and personal controversy after alleged private messages to her married boyfriend, Matthew Ammel, were submitted in court by his estranged wife, Heather Ammel.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Heather included a series of texts she claims were sent by the former Arizona senator in 2024, painting a picture of a deeply emotional and complicated relationship.
In one alleged exchange from June 2024, Sinema reportedly sent Ammel a concert ticket via text for a Noah Kahan show. Weeks later, she is said to have shared her location with him.
The filing also includes an alleged message from August 6, where Sinema reportedly wrote, “I cannot sleep, I am miserable, and I want at least one of my pens back. You have them both. Pls give me one back now,” after sending a four-digit code and the word “Enter.”
Another alleged Instagram message from October 2024 reads, “I miss you. Putting my hand on your heart. I’ll see you soon.”
Heather Ammel responded in the filings with accusations, questioning whether Sinema was involved with her husband and claiming the relationship contributed to the breakdown of her marriage. It remains unclear if Sinema responded to those allegations.
The messages form part of Heather’s ongoing lawsuit seeking damages over claims that her marriage was disrupted.#newsafro_
