Summer House star Ciara Miller has spoken out about the surprise romance between West Wilson and Amanda Batula, describing the situation as deeply hurtful and emotionally overwhelming.
In a recent interview with Glamour, Miller, 30, said she felt blindsided after her former boyfriend Wilson, 31, and former close friend Batula, 34, confirmed they had been secretly dating.
She admitted that while she had previously tried to remain composed publicly, the revelation left her feeling betrayed. Miller explained that the most painful aspect was not only the breakup, but the fact that it involved someone she once considered part of her close inner circle.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” she said. “To experience it so publicly is like another layer.”
Miller also suggested she had suspected something was going on between the pair before the announcement, adding that intuition often signals when “something’s weird.”
The romance was confirmed in a joint statement shared by Wilson and Batula on Instagram Stories, in which they said their relationship developed from a long-standing friendship and that they were still processing things privately.
Miller, however, questioned aspects of the announcement and said she found certain details “telling,” while also noting that her last conversations with Batula had been minimal.
The situation has added tension ahead of the upcoming Summer House reunion, which is expected to address the fallout between the cast members.#newsafro_
