Former NFL star LeSean McCoy is putting the controversy surrounding Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini into perspective—and he thinks people are overreacting.
The Eagles great spoke to TMZ Sports at LAX this week about the photos showing the Patriots head coach and the ESPN reporter looking cozy during NFL meetings in Arizona. McCoy, however, dismissed any suggestion of impropriety.
“I like Mike, I love Mike. I mind my business. They work together,” he said. “Everybody makes something big out of everything. He’s a big-time coach, he’s a big-time player. He was just in the Super Bowl, they got something to talk about. That’s what happened. I ain’t see nothing wrong with it.”
Both Vrabel and Russini have maintained that their interaction was innocent, noting that the photos didn’t show the full group that was with them. But sources tell TMZ that no one else appeared to be present during breakfast, by the pool, or on the rooftop at sunset during their time at the Arizona resort in late March.
For McCoy, it’s simple: the fuss over the photos is far more hype than reality.#newsafro_
