Tiger Woods is facing renewed scrutiny following a recent DUI arrest, but the golf legend appears unwilling to change his approach — especially when it comes to getting behind the wheel.
Despite concerns surrounding his driving, Woods has reportedly resisted hiring a private driver. According to an anonymous source cited by People, he values his privacy deeply and doesn’t want someone constantly watching his movements or knowing his personal affairs. The insider added that Woods believes he is still capable of driving himself safely.
That stance has raised eyebrows, particularly given his past legal troubles involving impaired driving. Most recently, Woods was arrested in Jupiter after authorities say he was speeding on a two-lane road, struck the back of a pickup truck towing a trailer, and ultimately flipped his SUV.
According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Woods failed a series of field sobriety tests at the scene and was taken into custody shortly after. A mugshot taken following the arrest showed a visibly unhappy Woods.
So far, he has not publicly addressed the incident, leaving many questions unanswered as concerns about his behavior continue to grow.#newsafro_
