Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird is publicly criticizing her late sister Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s ex-husband, Michael Caldwell, alleging he has blocked her family from seeing their daughter, Kylee, for the past two years.
According to Pumpkin, Michael gained full custody of Kylee following Chickadee’s death from cancer in 2023. Chickadee’s older daughter, Kaitlyn, was awarded to Mama June Shannon. Pumpkin claims that despite prior assurances that Kylee would maintain a relationship with her family, Michael and his wife, London, have ignored communication attempts and gone back on their word.
Pumpkin shared her frustrations in a social media post, including screenshots of alleged messages from London, who reportedly said the family only needed to request Kaitlyn’s contact information—a claim Pumpkin disputes.
