Lindsay Lohan, 39, was spotted arriving in New York City on Wednesday with her husband, Bader Shammas, and their two-year-old son, Luai, after leaving Dubai amid regional tensions. The actress appeared relaxed and stylish, wearing black sweatpants, a burgundy leather jacket, a white T-shirt, and a patterned scarf as she made her way through the busy airport.
The family’s departure follows Iranian retaliatory strikes targeting the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia after a joint U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran on February 28. Sources confirmed that Lohan and her family remained safe during the unrest. Lohan also shared a message on Instagram urging followers to stay safe, writing: “Praying for peace. Stay safe everyone. God bless us all.”
Lohan relocated to Dubai in 2014, seeking privacy and a quieter life away from Hollywood. In a recent feature for Vogue Arabia, she described the move as grounding, giving her the opportunity to focus on family life without constant public scrutiny.
Despite living abroad, Lohan continues to pursue acting. She is set to star alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in the 2025 sequel Freakier Friday and will appear in Hulu’s limited series Count My Lies with Shailene Woodley, serving as executive producer on both projects.
Lohan and Shammas married in 2022 and welcomed their son, Luai, in July 2023. This marks the family’s first public appearance in the U.S. since leaving Dubai amid the recent conflict.#newsafro_
