Lisa Rinna is once again airing her grievances about difficult colleagues in Hollywood, this time singling out Star Jones as a celebrity who wronged her. In her tell-all book You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, the Bravo star recalls that Jones “threw her under the f***ing bus” and sarcastically thanked Rinna for “being such a twat,” claiming the experience prepared her for life on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Rinna, 62, wrote that she “couldn’t trust any of the women” on the show and that the level of woman-on-woman hostility was something she hadn’t experienced before. She previously called out Andy Cohen and Dionne Warwick in her book for being difficult to work with.
Rinna also detailed her worst showbiz encounter during her early 1990s tenure on Days of Our Lives, where she played Billie Reed. She described her on-screen love interest, Robert Kelker-Kelly, as verbally abusive, manipulative, and unpredictable, making her daily work on love scenes a “living hell.” Rinna recounted the extreme stress of working with him, saying she never knew whether she would encounter his “nice” or “dark” side each morning.
After Kelker-Kelly left the show, Rinna and co-star Kristian Alfonso were provided with a full-time security detail by NBC, though Rinna indicated she did not feel physically threatened. NBC has declined to comment, and Kelker-Kelly has also been contacted for a response.
Rinna played Billie Reed from 1992 to 1995 before leaving the show and being replaced by Krista Allen, marking the end of one of the more tumultuous periods of her early acting career.#newsafro_
