The family of veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie, has formally refuted widespread reports circulating on social media alleging that the actor is deceased.
In a video statement released via Instagram on Tuesday, his eldest son, Leo Edochie, categorically described the reports as false, unfounded, and malicious in nature. He stated that the family had received numerous calls and messages concerning the publication, which he characterized as a deliberate fabrication.
Mr. Leo Edochie expressly affirmed that Chief Pete Edochie is alive and in good health, condemning the dissemination of the rumor and cautioning against the propagation of unverified and harmful information.
