Actress Eva Mendes has playfully disclosed which of her partner Ryan Gosling’s co-stars sparked feelings of jealousy.
Mendes, 51, revealed that in Gosling’s most recent film, Project Hail Mary, it was an animated character, Rocky the alien, who prompted her envy. The Amazon MGM Studios sci-fi film, set for release on March 20, follows Dr. Grace (Gosling) and Rocky as they collaborate to prevent planetary extinction. Mendes joked on Instagram, “His only costar I’ve ever been jealous of…Rocky. They spent wayyy too much time together. They even got each other’s rings. WTF!!? ♥️♥️♥️♥️.”
The couple, married in 2022, are parents to daughters Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine. Gosling has often publicly expressed his admiration and love for Mendes, crediting her with inspiring his desire to have children and serving as a personal acting coach. Mendes maintains a private approach to family life, limiting public exposure of their daily routines.
The family currently resides overseas while Gosling films Star Wars: Starfighter, living in a London enclave favored by celebrities, reportedly including Harry Styles, Jude Law, and Emma Thompson.
