Gisele Bündchen was recently observed publicly wearing a wedding band for the first time since privately entering into marriage with Joaquim Valente approximately two months earlier.
The 45-year-old model was seen on Friday in Miami during a daytime bicycle outing with her infant son, whom she shares with Valente. The child, now one year old, was born following the couple’s relationship, which culminated in a private marriage ceremony held in December of the prior year. Records indicate that the parties obtained a marriage license on December 1 and formally solemnized their union on December 3 at their residence in Surfside, Florida.
During the outing, Bündchen appeared in casual attire consisting of light gray leggings and a white sweatshirt. While she wore minimal accessories, a gold wedding band was visibly worn on her ring finger. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and partially covered by a white cap.
In addition to her child with Valente, Bündchen shares two children—Benjamin, age 16, and Vivian, age 13—with her former spouse, retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Their marriage was legally dissolved approximately three years prior.
Earlier this year, Bündchen marked her youngest child’s first birthday by sharing a series of photographs on social media, accompanied by a message expressing gratitude and reflecting on the child’s impact on her family. One image depicted Valente interacting with their son, who was dressed in a martial arts uniform similar to his father’s.
Bündchen and Valente initially became acquainted in December 2021 when she and her children enrolled in training at Valente’s jiu-jitsu academy. Their romantic relationship was publicly confirmed in 2024, and Bündchen later characterized the relationship as transparent and rooted in a prior friendship during an interview with The New York Times.
Meanwhile, Brady has publicly discussed the personal challenges he faced during the period surrounding the dissolution of his marriage to Bündchen, acknowledging that the circumstances affected his final season in professional football prior to his retirement in 2023. Subsequent media reports have linked him to several public figures following the divorce.#newsafro_
