Riley Burruss has opened up about her relationship with Todd Tucker following his divorce from her mother, Kandi Burruss.
Speaking during a recent outing in New York City, Riley revealed that although the divorce has changed the family dynamic, she and Todd are still close.
According to Riley, Todd continues to support her and “still has my back,” even though he and Kandi are no longer together.
However, she admitted that adjusting to the new reality has been difficult for everyone involved.
Riley described divorce as something that is “never easy” and acknowledged that the family is still feeling the impact of Kandi and Todd’s split.
Kandi and Todd separated in November after roughly a decade of marriage, with their breakup becoming increasingly complicated during the divorce proceedings.
The former couple initially disagreed over custody arrangements. Kandi had requested joint custody of their children, but after Todd sought primary custody, she changed her request and asked for sole custody.
Following months of legal back-and-forth, the pair eventually reached a full and final settlement in March, bringing their divorce battle to an end.
Now that the dust has settled, Riley appears determined to maintain her bond with Todd while supporting her mother as the family moves forward.
Attention has also turned to Kandi’s romantic future, with questions surrounding whether she could eventually find love again and possibly walk down the aisle.
Riley was asked about the possibility of her mother getting married again and shared her thoughts on Kandi’s love life.
