Nigerian music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has got social media buzzing after making some unexpected changes to his Instagram account.
The singer has reportedly unfollowed his wife, Natasha Osawaru, days after the pair were allegedly involved in a confrontation at a nightclub opening in Abuja.
Adding more fuel to the online conversation, 2Baba has also reportedly re-followed his ex-wife, actress Annie Macaulay Idibia, more than a year after their separation.
The reported incident happened on Friday at the opening of the “90s Lounge” in Abuja, where 2Baba was billed to perform.
According to reports making the rounds online, Natasha arrived at the venue with several men and approached 2Baba’s vehicle, resulting in a commotion that reportedly attracted police officers and security personnel.
An eyewitness claimed that Natasha wanted to speak with the singer after arriving at the venue. However, the video that surfaced online does not clearly show what led to the reported confrontation.
Following the incident, reports claimed that 2Baba told Natasha he was no longer interested in continuing their relationship.
Shortly afterwards, eagle-eyed social media users noticed that the singer had unfollowed Natasha on Instagram, although she was still following him.
But that was not the only social media move that caught attention.
2Baba and Annie have reportedly followed each other again on Instagram, marking a surprising reconnection after the former couple had unfollowed each other following their split.
Naturally, the development has triggered plenty of reactions online, with some fans questioning the timing of the renewed connection.
2Baba and Annie ended their 13-year marriage in January 2025. Not long after, the singer went public with his relationship with Natasha, an Edo State lawmaker. He proposed to her in February 2025, and the pair reportedly held a private traditional wedding ceremony several months later.
The latest drama comes amid previous reports of tension surrounding 2Baba and Natasha.
In an earlier incident, the singer reportedly interrupted a livestream involving some of his former managers after they began discussing his personal life. A heated exchange involving 2Baba and Natasha was reportedly heard in the background before the livestream abruptly ended.
2Baba has previously maintained that Natasha was not responsible for the end of his marriage to Annie.
For now, neither 2Baba nor Natasha has publicly commented on the reported nightclub incident or their Instagram activity.
