Kim Kardashian’s Los Angeles mansion reportedly became the target of an alleged burglary over the weekend, with police arresting a 27-year-old man at the property.
According to law enforcement sources, the man allegedly showed up at Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home on Sunday afternoon while the property was undergoing renovations.
Kardashian and her children are not currently living at the mansion. The family has reportedly been staying at a rental property while renovation work continues.
Security Guard Spots Suspect
The alleged break-in was reportedly discovered when a security guard spotted the man at the property.
Sources say the guard saw the suspect allegedly taking items and loading them into a vehicle before contacting the sheriff’s office.
The man is also accused of taking a car belonging to one of Kardashian’s staff members and driving it around the neighborhood.
Sheriff’s deputies reportedly arrived at the property and surrounded the home before taking the suspect into custody without further incident.
Police said no one was injured during the incident and that no weapons were found on the suspect. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Kardashian’s Camp Disputes Part of the Account
While law enforcement sources described the incident as a burglary, people close to Kardashian have reportedly challenged some parts of the official account.
According to sources close to the reality star, the suspect never actually gained entry into the house. They also say Kardashian does not currently have any personal belongings at the property because it is being renovated.
Despite the conflicting accounts, the suspect remains in custody as authorities continue investigating what happened at Kardashian’s estate.
