Aubrey Plaza has officially become a mom, welcoming her first child with actor Christopher Abbott.
The White Lotus star was spotted in New York City on Sunday carrying her newborn daughter after attending Abbott’s final performance in Death of a Salesman.
According to sources with direct knowledge, Plaza gave birth to a baby girl during the final week of July, making the couple a family of three.
Plaza looked stylish and relaxed during the outing, wearing a high ponytail and black sunglasses while cradling her newborn, who was bundled up in a blanket and beanie.
News of Plaza’s pregnancy first surfaced in April, with reports at the time suggesting the baby was expected to arrive in the fall. In the months that followed, the actress made no attempt to conceal her growing baby bump as she stepped out in New York.
The newborn is Plaza and Abbott’s first child together. Plaza was previously married to filmmaker Jeff Baena, with whom she did not have children before their separation.
Plaza and Abbott have also worked together professionally, appearing in the 2020 film Black Bear and the off-Broadway production Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
