Spencer Pratt is taking aim at CBS after accusing the network of turning a recent interview into what he called a “hit piece,” a claim that sources connected to the situation strongly deny.
The reality TV personality aired his frustrations on X, where he alleged that footage from an interview filmed at the site of his damaged Pacific Palisades property was shared with the press team of Karen Bass. He suggested the material was then used to shape a narrative he described as a “political sideshow.”
Pratt didn’t hold back in his online posts, also criticizing Bass in connection with the ongoing fallout from the 2025 Pacific Palisades fires and claiming he would refuse to cooperate with CBS in the future.
However, sources familiar with the situation dispute his allegations, saying there was no coordination between CBS and Bass’s team and insisting that no footage was improperly shared. They also noted that the network planned to air the full interview as recorded.
Despite the pushback, Pratt has continued to voice his grievances publicly, framing the situation as unfair treatment, while CBS maintains that its coverage reflects the full, unedited context of the interview.#newsafro_
