Brandon ‘Bug’ Hall has been arrested in Ohio after allegedly failing to appear in court for a scheduled hearing tied to a traffic citation, adding another legal setback for the former child star.
The actor, best known for playing Alfalfa in the 1994 family classic The Little Rascals, was taken into custody on a charge of failure to appear after reportedly missing a December 31, 2024 court date connected to a traffic ticket issued two months earlier.
According to reports, the original citation involved failure to provide proof of liability insurance during a traffic stop in October 2024.
Hall’s recent arrest comes amid a history of prior legal issues, including a 2020 incident in Texas involving misdemeanor possession related to inhalant use, which drew public attention at the time.
Once a prominent child actor who starred alongside names like Whoopi Goldberg and Mel Brooks in the 1994 hit, Hall later appeared in a range of television and film projects, including CSI, Castle, and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love.
More recently, he had spoken about stepping away from Hollywood life entirely, describing a shift toward a quieter, more self-sufficient lifestyle in Arkansas with his family.
Now, his latest arrest marks another unexpected turn in the former child star’s long and turbulent public journey.#newsafro_
