Megyn Kelly is taking aim at Tiger Woods over his reported call to President Donald Trump during a recent DUI arrest. On a recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly criticized Woods’ actions, calling them “a douche move” and suggesting the golfer reached out to try to avoid legal and public relations fallout.
While she briefly acknowledged the possibility that Trump might have called Woods to apologize for revealing sensitive information about The Masters, Kelly quickly dismissed that scenario. “I’m gonna go with Tiger called him and asked for some help because he knew this was going to be a PR disaster and potentially a legal one — and both were correct,” she said.
Woods was arrested for DUI on March 27 after his Range Rover flipped over on Jupiter Island, Florida, following a collision with a truck hauling a trailer. He was booked into county jail and later released on bond. He now faces charges including DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a urine test — both misdemeanors — as well as a careless driving citation. Woods has pleaded not guilty to all charges.#newsafro_
