A heated legal dispute is unfolding between rapper Future and his ex-girlfriend, Brittni Mealy, as tensions rise over their 12-year-old son, Prince.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Brittni has accused the music star of failing to comply with a 2023 court order tied to their child. At the center of the conflict is a requirement that Future secure a $500,000 life insurance policy, naming Brittni as trustee for their son. She claims he has yet to fulfill that obligation.
Frustrated by what she describes as ongoing noncompliance, Brittni is now asking the court to take serious action. She wants the judge to hold Future in contempt and even order his incarceration until the issue with the life insurance policy is resolved.
The dispute comes on the heels of a previous ruling in 2023, when Brittni successfully petitioned for an increase in child support. The court raised Future’s monthly payments from $3,000 to $5,000.
As of now, Future has not publicly responded to the latest legal filing, leaving the situation hanging as the court weighs its next move.#newsafro_
