A tense situation unfolded early Thursday morning at the Los Angeles home of Christian ‘King’ Combs, after an attempted burglary prompted a swift police response.
According to authorities, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were dispatched to a mansion in Porter Ranch around 12:45 a.m. following reports of a “hot prowl” burglary — a term used when a suspect attempts to break into a home while residents are inside.
The property, which Combs shares with his girlfriend, Raven Tracy, became the focus of the investigation after an employee at the residence alerted police to suspicious activity. Another individual monitoring surveillance footage also contacted authorities.
Police later confirmed that suspects tried to gain entry through a rear door but were unsuccessful. Officers on the scene conducted a thorough search of the property, with at least one seen inspecting the backyard area with a flashlight.
