Chuck Norris is set to make a posthumous appearance in his final film following his death at 86.
The Hollywood legend filmed scenes for the action-comedy Zombie Plane about a year and a half ago at his Texas ranch. In the movie, Norris plays the head of a spy agency composed of celebrity characters, with cameo appearances designed to playfully poke fun at the stars’ on-screen personas.
Producer Shaked Berenson told TMZ that Norris was “a pure joy to work with and a total pro,” adding that the actor’s family was present on set during filming. Berenson also recalled that Norris enjoyed the famous Chuck Norris memes, appreciating the humor and being able to laugh at himself—a trait that perfectly suited the tone of the movie.
Norris passed away Thursday morning in Hawaii following a sudden medical emergency. His family shared a heartfelt statement, calling him “a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family” and noting that he lived “with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved.”
Zombie Plane is currently in post-production and is scheduled to premiere next year, marking the late star’s final appearance on the big screen.#newsafro_
