Jennifer Lopez recently disclosed that her children had encouraged her to seek out and closely observe certain celebrities during a prominent awards ceremony held approximately two months earlier.
The 56-year-old entertainer, who recently commenced the next phase of her Las Vegas residency, made the revelation during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Lopez, the mother of 18-year-old twins Max and Emme, explained that the teenagers are avid admirers of Heated Rivalry actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
During the course of the interview, the reporter observed that Lopez and Williams follow each other on social media. In response, Lopez expressed surprise and remarked that her children would be extremely excited by that information.
Lopez further stated that her children had previously asked her to “stalk” the actors during the Golden Globe Awards. However, she indicated that she was unable to locate them during the event and instead recorded a video of them when they later appeared onstage. She explained that she was unable to determine their whereabouts within the venue at the time.
The performer also confirmed that she has not yet had the opportunity to personally meet either Williams or Storrie.
When asked whether a future professional collaboration between herself and Williams might be possible, Lopez responded that such a prospect could occur, although she provided no definitive confirmation.
The television series Heated Rivalry premiered in November 2025 on Crave and HBO Max and received significant critical acclaim following its release. The six-episode production is an adaptation of the Game Changers novel series authored by Rachel Reid, and a second season is currently in development with a projected release in 2027.
The series recently received the award for Outstanding New TV Series at the GLAAD Media Awards held in Los Angeles.
Although Lopez was unable to meet the actors on behalf of her children during the Golden Globes, she recently commemorated a significant personal milestone when her twins celebrated their 18th birthday in February. In a tribute posted to her Instagram account, she reflected on their birth during a snowstorm in New York City and expressed that the event permanently transformed her life.
Lopez shares Max and Emme with her former husband, Marc Anthony, to whom she was married from 2004 until their divorce in 2014.
Professionally, Lopez has maintained a demanding schedule and recently launched the next installment of her Las Vegas residency, The JLo Show, which debuted on March 6 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. According to reports, the entertainer has undertaken extensive rehearsal sessions, reportedly working up to thirteen hours per day in preparation for the performances.#newsafro_
