Nicole Kidman coordinated stylistically with her Scarpetta “sister,” Jamie Lee Curtis, as the pair donned complementary leopard-print accents while promoting their forthcoming Scarpetta project for Amazon Prime Video in Manhattan on Monday.
The Academy Award–winning actresses appeared alongside showrunner Liz Sarnoff and author Patricia Cornwell for a joint promotional event held at 92nd Street Y in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood, in collaboration with Prime’s series Cross.
Kidman, 58, wore a tailored black pantsuit complemented by a leopard-print coat and statement footwear, while Curtis, 67, similarly opted for a slim black suit paired with a leopard-print blouse. The coordinated styling underscored their professional reunion and generated notable attention among attendees and fans.
Following the formal appearance, the actresses proceeded to Bibliotheque for an additional Scarpetta Q&A engagement, where guests shared footage of the evening across social media platforms.
In the eight-episode crime drama—premiering March 11 on Prime—Kidman and Curtis serve as both executive producers and principal cast members. Kidman portrays forensic pathologist Dr. Kay Scarpetta, while Curtis assumes the role of her sister, Dorothy Farinelli. During a promotional appearance on TODAY, Curtis remarked upon the intensity of their on-screen dynamic, noting that their characters engage in a physical altercation in the inaugural episode.
The adaptation of Cornwell’s bestselling novels also features performances by Ariana DeBose, Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, and Sosie Bacon.
Kidman subsequently appeared at 30 Rockefeller Plaza to tape an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, further advancing promotional efforts for the series.#newsafro_
