Kevin Kreider and Devon Diep have formally terminated their engagement following a longstanding, intermittent romantic relationship spanning approximately 15 years.
The parties, who became engaged approximately five months prior, issued a joint public statement confirming their decision to separate. In the statement, they characterized the determination as difficult but mutually agreed upon, indicating their intent to “move forward on separate paths” while maintaining an amicable relationship as friends. They further requested privacy as they transition into the next phase of their respective lives.
Kreider had proposed to Diep during a trip to Rome in September of the preceding year, and the engagement was publicly announced via social media at that time. The proposal followed what Kreider described as a renewed commitment after a prior breakup and reconciliation.
Both individuals previously appeared on the Netflix reality series Bling Empire, which chronicled the personal and professional lives of affluent Asian American socialites in Los Angeles. Their relationship was featured as part of the program’s storyline after their reconciliation, reportedly facilitated in part by co-star Christine Chiu. The series premiered in 2021 and concluded after three seasons, with Netflix electing not to proceed with a fourth installment and also discontinuing its spinoff, Bling Empire: New York.
In light of the foregoing, the engagement has been formally dissolved, and both parties have publicly indicated that the separation is amicable and mutually respectful.#newsafro_
