Teyana Taylor, aged 35, attended the second annual GQ Bowl on Friday evening in San Francisco accompanied by her daughters, Iman “Junie” Shumpert Jr., age 10, and Rue Rose Shumpert, age five. The trio appeared in coordinated attire from Thom Browne’s fall 2026 collection, which was featured during a livestreamed fashion presentation at the Legion of Honor Museum.
Ms. Taylor wore a layered plaid suit comprising a pleated mini skirt over a maxi-length skirt, paired with a cropped, collared white shirt and a necktie, completed with black platform shoes. Her daughter Junie was styled in a gray suit jacket and pleated skirt, while Rue wore a white shirt dress with a red sweater vest. Ms. Taylor shares both children with her former spouse, Iman Shumpert, to whom she was married from 2016 to 2024.
In prior remarks to Entertainment Tonight, Ms. Taylor described her children as her “biggest fashion critics” and “co-stylists,” emphasizing their involvement in her wardrobe decisions. During her acceptance of the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture award at the 2026 Golden Globes, she referenced her daughters as being “upstairs watching” the ceremony and identified her family as a grounding influence.
Other notable attendees at the GQ event included influencer Alix Earle, who wore a prep-school-inspired gray suit dress, actor François Arnaud in cuffed jeans and a trench coat, Queen Latifah in a black-and-white ensemble, Evan Mock in a layered blazer and cable-knit vest, and DJ Kitty Cash in a pleated mini skirt with knee-high socks. The fashion show was streamed live via GQ’s YouTube channel.#newsafro_
