It is reported that Ms. Kim Zolciak and Mr. Kroy Biermann, currently engaged in ongoing divorce proceedings, met on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, to formalize a temporary child custody arrangement concerning their minor children. Both parties executed a legally binding agreement establishing interim custodial provisions pending the resolution of their divorce litigation. The specific terms of the temporary arrangement have not been publicly disclosed.
Ms. Zolciak, age 47, and Mr. Biermann, age 40, were married for approximately 11 years and have been separated since 2023. Divorce filings were initially submitted by Mr. Biermann in May 2023, with Ms. Zolciak filing subsequently. The parties briefly reconciled in July 2023; however, Mr. Biermann refiled for divorce in August 2023 and again in early 2025.
The parties share custody of four minor children: Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane, as well as two adult daughters, Ariana and Brielle, whom Mr. Biermann legally adopted. Both Ms. Zolciak and Mr. Biermann have sought sole physical custody and have made reciprocal allegations regarding unfit parenting.
Prior to the current temporary arrangement, the parties maintained a split-custody arrangement in which each parent had custody of two children on a rotating week-by-week schedule. This arrangement was implemented following the forced relocation from their foreclosed residence in Georgia in April 2025.
As part of prior court filings, Mr. Biermann petitioned for sole physical custody of the minor children, citing alleged neglect and emotional and psychological abuse, and asserting the existence of insufficient structure and accountability in Ms. Zolciak’s household. Ms. Zolciak has similarly alleged that Mr. Biermann failed to provide financial support for the minor children and has claimed primary responsibility for their care and expenses.
The executed temporary agreement is intended to govern the interim custodial responsibilities of the parties while the ongoing divorce and custody proceedings remain pending.#newsafro_
