Adam Sandler publicly displayed affection toward his spouse of 22 years, Jacqueline “Jackie” Titone, while attending the 31st Critics Choice Awards on Sunday in Santa Monica, California.
The 59-year-old entertainer was observed sharing a kiss with the 51-year-old actress on the black carpet at the Barker Hangar within Santa Monica Airport. For the occasion, Sandler wore a black suit complemented by a coordinating necktie and navy-blue shirt, while Titone appeared in a strapless, blue-patterned midi dress paired with black pumps.
The appearance followed remarks Sandler made the previous day while accepting the Palm Springs Film Festival Chairman’s Award, during which he reflected on the trajectory of his personal and professional life. Sandler stated that, irrespective of whether he had pursued a career outside the entertainment industry, he believed he would nonetheless have married his wife, characterizing their union as a matter of destiny.
He further remarked that, while his lifestyle may have differed under alternative circumstances, the marital relationship would have remained intact. Sandler also noted that he originally met Titone through a mutual acquaintance at a Hollywood event and that she has since appeared in numerous projects associated with his film career, alongside their two daughters.
