Amanda Bynes was observed in Los Angeles on Sunday presenting a visibly reduced physique while attending to personal errands.
The former Nickelodeon actress, who will turn 40 in April, appeared in black leggings, a multicolored striped Karl Kani T-shirt, white jelly footwear, and a coordinating tote bag. Ms Bynes has previously spoken candidly about her recent weight-loss efforts, confirming that she began using the GLP-1 medication Ozempic in June, stating that the decision was motivated in part by a desire to improve her appearance in photographed public settings.
In a public statement issued on November 5, Ms Bynes disclosed that she had lost approximately 20 pounds to date and expressed an intention to lose additional weight. She further explained fluctuations in her weight during the course of treatment and indicated satisfaction with her progress since transitioning to inject-able administration of the medication. Ms Bynes also noted that she has incorporated exercise into her routine, including early-morning Pilates classes.
Ms Bynes has previously acknowledged past misuse of prescription stimulants for weight control earlier in her career. It is noted that, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, only certain GLP-1 medications have been formally approved for weight-loss treatment, while others are indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes.
The actress has also been the subject of recent media attention for publicly disputing false allegations circulated online concerning her former Nickelodeon employer, which she has described as untrue and misleading. Separate legal proceedings involving the former show-runner and third parties are ongoing.#newsafro_
