Hilaria Baldwin, 41, spouse of actor Alec Baldwin, issued a public response to criticism concerning the length of a Zimmermann “Rebellion” frayed mini-dress she wore to the Gotham Awards in Manhattan on Monday. The dress is reported to retail at $2,850.
The response was directed at an Instagram user, @richieo2000, who commented that the dress was “way too short” for her age. Baldwin questioned the premise of the critique, stating: “Are you saying that 41-year-old women can’t show off our legs?”
In a video shared to her social media account, Baldwin demonstrated a handstand and related exercises intended to showcase her physical fitness, asserting that the dress remained properly positioned during movement. She further stated: “I don’t care if they’re 21, 41, 81, 101—our bodies, our legs are not offensive. We can show them.”
Baldwin, a former yoga instructor and co-owner of the New York-based yoga studio chain Yoga Vida until 2023, maintains a significant social media presence, with approximately 1.1 million followers. She has publicly cited challenges related to online commentary and social media criticism in previous contexts, including her participation in ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, from which she was eliminated on October 7, 2025.
The Baldwins reside in a penthouse in Greenwich Village valued at approximately $11.7 million and employ two nannies to assist with the care of their seven children: Carmen, 12; Rafael, 10; Leonardo, 9; Romeo, 7; Eduardo, 5; MariLu, 4; and Ilaria, 3. Alec Baldwin, 67, is also the grandfather of a two-year-old granddaughter, Holland, through his daughter Ireland from his prior marriage to Kim Basinger.#newsafro_
