Although Miranda Lambert did not participate in the red-carpet portion of the event, she attended the CMA Awards on Wednesday evening accompanied by her husband, Brendan McLoughlin. Ms. Lambert, age 42, appeared in good spirits as she posed with Mr. McLoughlin, age 34, inside Bridgestone Arena.
The artist, formerly married to Blake Shelton, was attired in a black three-piece pantsuit featuring bright floral embroidery along the sleeves of the jacket. She wore a low-cut vest beneath the jacket, accentuating her décolletage, and accessorized with a wide-brimmed cowboy hat. Mr. McLoughlin, whom she married in 2019, wore a coordinated black suit with a white dress shirt and black tie.
During the ceremony, Ms. Lambert performed a duet with Chris Stapleton. For this appearance, she changed into a similarly styled ensemble in a burnt-brown hue and paired it with a white cowboy hat featuring a brown ornament with a turquoise center.
Earlier in the month, Mr. McLoughlin publicly acknowledged Ms. Lambert’s birthday with a social-media post containing a series of photographs and a written tribute. In the message, he characterized her as loving, talented, and caring, and praised her for her fearlessness and willingness to pursue new interests. He concluded by affirming his affection for her. Ms. Lambert responded in the comments, expressing reciprocal appreciation.
In a September 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Ms. Lambert described their marriage as relaxed and low-key. She noted that, during their time off, the couple typically spends evenings on their patio, preparing drinks and listening to music, sometimes hosting informal private parties for just the two of them. She added that although their musical preferences differ, they enjoy shared time together and often remark that their lifestyle resembles “living on a date.”#newsafro_
