Teddi Mellencamp appeared on the red carpet at BravoCon 2025 on Friday. The 44-year-old former cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills made the appearance subsequent to undergoing cancer treatment throughout the year.
She attended the event wearing a textured golden-brown skirt suit paired with a nude camisole, with the sleeves of her blazer rolled to the elbows. During an interview with Extra, Mellencamp provided an update regarding her ongoing treatment for stage-four brain cancer.
Describing her recent medical progress, she stated: “I see it as a miracle,” adding that she feels “beyond grateful” to be experiencing improved health and to be able to participate more fully in the lives of her children and family. Displaying her pixie haircut—now substantially grown out since she shaved her head in February—she further acknowledged the support of friends and loved ones, noting that their assistance has been instrumental throughout her treatment.
On Friday, Mellencamp also shared behind-the-scenes footage from the Las Vegas BravoCon convention, commenting that she was “living [her] best BravoCon life.”
In early October, Mellencamp publicly disclosed that her cancer was considered undetectable following several months of treatment for melanoma that had metastasized to her brain. Offering guidance to others undergoing significant medical challenges, she emphasized that such experiences involve both “good days and bad days” and encouraged individuals to seek medical evaluations, stating that “knowledge is key.” She also noted that she believes she falls within the “one percent” of patients for whom treatment proves highly effective.
Mellencamp participated in the interview alongside her close friend Kyle Richards, 56, who emphasized the importance of a support system. Richards explained that on days when Mellencamp feels discouraged, friends step in to assist her—whether by encouraging her to take a walk or to go out for frozen yogurt—demonstrating the value of consistent emotional support.
At the Las Vegas event, held at Caesars Forum, Mellencamp posed for photographs with Richards and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Erika Jayne, 54.
Mellencamp’s cancer update came several months after her November 2024 filing for divorce from Edwin Arroyave, 48, with whom she shares three children: daughters Slate, 13, and Dove, 5, and son Cruz, 11.
She previously underwent emergency surgery in February to remove sizable tumors from her brain, followed by radiation and immunotherapy to address remaining cancerous growths originating from her 2022 melanoma diagnosis. According to Mellencamp, the effects of the tumors were present for approximately six months before she sought medical care, during which time she experienced persistent migraines that she initially disregarded while managing other personal challenges. She disclosed these details in March on her Two Ts in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge.
Throughout her treatment and recovery, Mellencamp has publicly shared ongoing updates with her followers.#newsafro_
