Melissa Gorga, a cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, was recently photographed in St. Barts wearing a brown string bikini with gold detailing. The 46-year-old television personality appeared on the beach alongside her husband, Joe Gorga—brother to fellow RHONJ cast member Teresa Giudice—who was dressed in swim shorts and no shirt. The couple travelled to the Caribbean to take a reprieve from the colder autumn weather in New Jersey.
The previous day, Gorga, who owns a retail store in Toms River, had been seen wearing a dark blue swimsuit, sunglasses, and high heels near a swimming pool. Her social media post from that outing drew positive engagement from other reality-television figures, including Kristin Cavallari and Heather Dubrow. Gorga has previously stated that she avoids sun exposure to protect her skin.
Gorga—who has three children, Antonia, Gino, and Joey, with her husband—has described herself as “anti-sun,” particularly with respect to her facial skin, and has expressed that she tries to instill this attitude in her daughter. In an interview with Page Six, she explained that she takes extensive steps to prevent direct sun exposure to her face and experiences significant anxiety when her skin is exposed to sunlight. She noted that her daughter, who prefers tanning outdoors, is resistant to adopting the same practices.
Gorga has also stated that a minimal-makeup approach contributes to a more youthful appearance and emphasized skincare as the most essential aspect of her beauty regimen. She indicated that she typically wears tinted moisturizer during the summer and believes that maintaining healthy skin reduces the need for heavy cosmetics. According to her, effective skincare products need not be expensive, citing that certain affordable options are equally beneficial.
Regarding her professional relationships, Gorga and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, have experienced prolonged interpersonal strain, much of which has been depicted on the Bravo series. Gorga has publicly criticized what she described as “toxic behavior” surrounding the show, particularly on social media. She asserted that individuals unaffiliated with the cast have disseminated false narratives, creating hostility that has negatively affected the cast members and their families, including online attacks on their children and interference with their businesses. She urged the public to refrain from engaging in negative commentary directed at any cast member or their relatives.#newsafro_
