Ginnifer Goodwin and her husband, Josh Dallas, made a public family appearance on Thursday, bringing their two minor children onto a red carpet for the first time.
The couple appeared with their sons, Oliver (10) and Hugo (8), who were dressed in coordinated black suits with neckties. Goodwin and Dallas—who met while co-starring in the ABC series Once Upon a Time—attended the Hollywood premiere of their forthcoming Disney animated film Zootopia 2, held at the El Capitan Theater. In the production, Goodwin voices the character Judy Hopps, while Dallas voices Frantic Pig.
Speaking to E! News, Goodwin addressed their decision to include their children in the event, noting that she and Dallas maintain a longstanding policy of not displaying their children’s faces on social media. She stated that the family remains “very private” and that, despite allowing their sons to accompany them publicly, they do not intend to post images of the children online. She further explained that the children are not permitted to search for themselves on the internet, and that while their peers may do so, the parents’ restrictions apply only to their own household. Goodwin described the premiere as an opportunity for the family to celebrate together.
For the event, Goodwin wore a beige off-the-shoulder gown with long gloves and large stud earrings. Dallas wore a dark beige suit paired with an army-green T-shirt. Their children were dressed in black suits, white shirts, ties, black dress shoes, and black-rimmed eyeglasses.
Dallas also commented on the couple’s previous work on Once Upon a Time, stating that he retains “nothing but gratitude” for the series. He noted that he and Goodwin have attempted to encourage their sons to watch the show, believing they are now of an appropriate age to appreciate it, but that the children have shown no interest in viewing their parents’ performances.#newsafro_
