Former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan will, on Tuesday, participate in the formal unveiling of the Care365 Health Hub, an initiative chaired by former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, GCFR, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
The Health Hub, a transformative innovation originally conceived in the United States and now introduced in Nigeria, seeks to redefine healthcare access and delivery across the country. General Abubakar will serve as Chief Host and Chairman of the Care365 Health Hub, while President Jonathan is designated Guest of Honour. President Obasanjo will preside as Chairman of the Occasion. The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, will formally unveil the innovation.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Care365 Health Hub, Mrs. Ngozi Odumuko, outlined the four pioneering solutions underpinning the initiative. These include:
Care365 Health Monitoring Kiosk: A smart self-service device offering instant vital sign checks such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, oxygen level, among others.
Care365 Mobile Clinic: A flexible, mobile solution designed to deliver healthcare to underserved and remote communities.
Care365 Health Hub Telemedicine Mobile and Web Application: A platform enabling virtual consultations, e-prescriptions, referrals, and electronic health record management.
Specialist Doctors Pool: A global network of highly skilled doctors from the United States, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Nigeria providing international-standard expertise.
The event will also attract dignitaries including the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike; state governors; federal ministers; senior government functionaries; leaders of the organised private sector; representatives of the international community; and chief executives across banking, oil and gas, telecommunications, insurance, and other sectors.#newsafro_
