Zoë Kravitz and Austin Butler set tongues wagging once again as they fueled romance speculation at the premiere of their new film Caught Stealing.
The pair shared a noticeably flirty moment on the red carpet, with Butler resting a hand on Kravitz’s bare waist as he leaned in close to chat with her. Kravitz, smiling warmly, returned the gesture by placing a hand on his arm.
The actress showcased her toned abs in a striking black ensemble, pairing a sleek long-sleeve crop top with a flowing skirt. She completed the look with her signature dark waves cascading loosely over her shoulders, adding to the effortlessly smoldering appearance.
Zoë Kravitz and Austin Butler continued to spark romance speculation as they hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new film Caught Stealing.
Butler looked effortlessly debonair in a sleek black leather suit, complete with matching trousers and sunglasses, while Kravitz turned heads in a chic black crop top and flowing skirt that showed off her sculpted abs. Their playful chemistry was on full display, with Butler resting a hand on Kravitz’s waist as they shared a flirty exchange in front of the cameras.
The pair have been at the center of dating rumors for months, most recently after being spotted getting cozy at a Paris bar last week. “It’s not quite a fully fledged romance, but Austin hasn’t been friend-zoned either,” one insider told Daily Mail. Just days later, however, Kravitz was seen linking arms with Harry Styles during a stroll in Rome, adding another twist to the speculation.
Both stars are newly single following high-profile breakups — Butler with model Kaia Gerber and Kravitz with actor Channing Tatum. “Their chemistry is as good off-screen as it is on it,” a source previously told The Sun. “Austin and Zoë have been keeping it under the radar and aren’t putting a label on anything yet.” Still, another insider later downplayed the rumors to TMZ.
Beyond their personal lives, the duo share the spotlight in Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming comedy-crime film Caught Stealing, which also stars Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith, Regina King, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Bad Bunny. Based on Charlie Huston’s novel, the film follows Hank Thompson (played by Butler), a washed-up former baseball player drawn into the criminal underworld of 1990s New York.
The project marks Butler’s latest high-profile role following the box-office smash Dune: Part Two, which has earned over $700 million worldwide since its March release. The actor has enjoyed a meteoric rise since his Oscar-nominated performance as Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 biopic Elvis.
For Kravitz, Caught Stealing comes on the heels of her directorial debut Blink Twice, released in late August. The daughter of Lenny Kravitz has built an eclectic résumé with standout roles in HBO’s Big Little Lies, Hulu’s High Fidelity, and her turn as Selina Kyle in The Batman (2022).
Caught Stealing premieres in theaters on August 29.#newsafro_
