Mr. Gleb Savchenko, aged 41, the former partner of Ms. Brooks Nader, aged 28, was observed at the set of Dancing With the Stars notwithstanding Ms. Nader’s public assertion that he had been dismissed from the program. Mr. Savchenko had previously intimated that he would not be returning for the forthcoming season of the competition series, in the context of ongoing personal disputes with Ms. Nader.
On Friday, however, he was seen entering the dance studio in preparation for rehearsals for the upcoming season. In so doing, he adopted measures to minimize public recognition, including the use of a baseball cap with a reflective visor and a black face mask.
Notwithstanding Mr. Savchenko’s apparent efforts to remain inconspicuous upon entering rehearsals, he was identifiable by his tattoos, most notably the marking located behind his right ear. His attire was casual and understated, consisting of a dark gray T-shirt, loose-fitting sweatpants, and sneakers, suggestive of preparation for physical exercise.
Earlier in the month, Mr. Savchenko utilized the social media platform TikTok to address Ms. Nader’s public assertions that he had engaged in infidelity and was consequently dismissed from Dancing With the Stars. In a video, he synchronized his lip movements to a popular audio recording while maintaining that Ms. Nader was, in fact, the instigator of his alleged termination. He further asserted: ‘I do not know the source of your information; however, I can affirm that it is entirely inaccurate.’ He captioned the video with the statement: ‘Your “source” requires a refund … that story is unequivocally false.’
Within the comment section, one supporter remarked that they anticipated his return to television in September, to which Mr. Savchenko responded, ‘I am afraid you will not.’ Another user criticized the program, prompting Mr. Savchenko’s reply that ‘Fourteen years of loyalty [were] erased by someone’s falsehood.’
Mr. Gleb Savchenko first joined the cast of the ABC program Dancing With the Stars in 2013 during its sixteenth season. He subsequently departed from the series for a number of years before returning as a professional dancer in season twenty-three, which aired in 2016.
In the promotional trailer for Ms. Brooks Nader’s forthcoming reality program, Love Thy Nader, she asserted that she possessed ‘proof’ of Mr. Savchenko’s alleged infidelity. The trailer further incorporated a voiceover, attributed to Mr. Savchenko, in which he stated: ‘It is unfortunate that individuals disseminate lies and rumors to promote their new reality program.’
Only days ago, Ms. Nader publicly addressed her former partner’s claim that she was responsible for his removal from Dancing With the Stars. In response to a query from photographer Melanie Miller, Ms. Nader remarked: ‘He got himself fired, probably.’
