The Nigeria Police Force has publicly refuted the authenticity of a viral ‘wanted’ poster purporting to depict Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Ms. Iyabo Ojo. The poster, which circulated on social media, alleged that Ms. Ojo was wanted by authorities and offered a reward for information leading to her arrest.
In an official statement published on its verified Facebook page on Thursday, the Nigeria Police Force described the poster as fraudulent and misleading, stating: ‘Fake news alert! This “wanted” poster of actress Iyabo Ojo did not emanate from the Nigeria Police Force. It is false, misleading, and was never posted on any official NPF platform.
