The organisers of the Ghana Music Festival have formally announced the rescheduling of the 2025 edition, initially slated for 22–24 August, to the new dates of 24–26 October 2025. The event will continue to be hosted at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
This adjustment, as set forth in a joint press statement by Berks Concepts and Quantum Communications, is intended to ensure a more impactful and internationally recognised celebration of Ghanaian music and culture.
The organisers further stated that the additional preparation period will facilitate enhanced production standards, secure high-calibre international and domestic collaborations, and provide a more immersive and enriching experience for artists, audiences, and stakeholders alike.
Ahmed Alhassan Sali, Creative Lead of the Festival, underscored the rationale for the adjustment, stating: “Our objective is to advance Ghanaian music beyond its present frontiers, thereby showcasing our cultural wealth and creative talent on an expanded global stage.”
The organisers have confirmed that tickets previously purchased shall remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Furthermore, additional ticketing categories and premium packages will be announced in due course. Fans and stakeholders may also expect forthcoming disclosures concerning performing artists, sponsor partnerships, and newly introduced festival features.
The Ghana Music Festival serves as a premier platform dedicated to the promotion of Ghanaian and African music, arts, and culture. The event is strategically designed to stimulate industry development while positioning Ghana as a leading global music destination.
