Zendaya and her fiancé, Tom Holland, have reportedly postponed their wedding plans due to professional obligations, as disclosed by her long-time stylist and image consultant, Law Roach.
In a statement to E! News, the 47-year-old stylist remarked: “The planning process has not even commenced. Zendaya is currently involved in several film projects. She is presently on location filming the next installment of Dune, and with multiple other commitments underway, there remains ample time before any formal arrangements are made.”
Both Zendaya and Holland are contractually engaged in a number of upcoming productions, including their co-starring roles in Destin Daniel Cretton’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as well as Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming adaptation of The Odyssey. These ongoing professional engagements have necessitated a deferral of their nuptial preparations.
The 28-year-old bride-to-be, Zendaya (legally known as Zendaya Coleman), is currently engaged in a demanding professional schedule that includes principal photography for Denis Villeneuve’s fantasy feature Dune: Part Three, Kristoffer Borgli’s romantic dramedy The Drama, the DreamWorks animated production Shrek 5, and the third season of HBO Max’s critically acclaimed drama series Euphoria.
In addition to her acting commitments, Zendaya has entered into a production agreement to both produce and portray singer Ronnie Spector in Be My Baby, a forthcoming biopic directed by Barry Jenkins and adapted from Spector’s 2022 memoir of the same name.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old groom-to-be, Tom Holland, is currently engaged in the production of American Speed, a biographical film from Amazon MGM Studios centered on the Whittington Brothers, in which he stars alongside Austin Butler. The screenplay is penned by Dan Wiedenhaupt and focuses on the world of professional race car driving.
Law Roach, Zendaya’s long-time stylist and confidant, suggested that the couple’s nuptials may potentially occur next year, expressing optimism by stating, “I’m really excited because I know they truly love each other, and they have for a very long time.”
Zendaya first ignited public speculation regarding her engagement at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards held in Beverly Hills on January 6, where she was observed wearing a custom-designed diamond ring by Jessica McCormack, reportedly valued at approximately $500,000.
The following day, TMZ reported that Holland had proposed “between Christmas and New Year’s Eve” during an intimate and understated moment at Zendaya’s family residence in Oakland, California.
In a prior interview with Men’s Health, Holland remarked on his long-term aspirations, stating: “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. [It’ll just be] golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
Zendaya and Holland were initially rumored to be romantically involved as early as 2017, during the press tour for Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, the relationship was not publicly confirmed until 2021, when the two were photographed sharing a kiss in Holland’s $125,000 Audi sports car outside Zendaya’s mother’s residence in Silver Lake.
The couple was most recently seen together on July 13 in Inverness, Scotland, where they were photographed having coffee during a break in filming The Odyssey. Holland, who is also the founder of BERO, has assumed the role of Telemachus, son of Odysseus, portrayed by Matt Damon. Zendaya is reportedly cast as the goddess Athena, a divine advisor to Odysseus who, according to mythology, often intercedes in mortal affairs and contends with other deities such as her father, Zeus, in guiding his journey home.#newsafro_
