JoJo Siwa has publicly responded to speculation concerning a possible pregnancy, following the circulation of a TikTok video that went viral. The 22-year-old entertainer, known for her early appearance on Dance Moms, is currently in a relationship with Chris Hughes, whom she met during the filming of Celebrity Big Brother in April.
In a video posted on Wednesday, Ms. Siwa engaged her audience in the interactive game “Two Truths and a Lie,” wherein she presented three statements—two purportedly factual and one intentionally false—thereby prompting followers to discern the untrue claim.
Ms. Siwa proceeded to list her three statements as follows: “1. I’ve never smoked a [cigarette]; 2. I’m pregnant; 3. This song comes out on Spotify Friday.” The exercise appeared to be a direct reference to, and playful engagement with, ongoing speculation about a potential pregnancy.
This speculation arose after a recent TikTok video featured Mr. Hughes gently placing his finger on Ms. Siwa’s abdomen, a gesture that prompted viewers to speculate about her condition. Additional commentary emerged when she was observed consuming a plate of red-colored food, leading some users to comment suggestively, including remarks such as “Pregnancy craving???”
Following the release of JoJo Siwa’s “Two Truths and a Lie” video, social media users swiftly responded in the comments section—many attempting to identify which of the three statements was false, while others commended Ms. Siwa for her humorous and lighthearted approach to addressing the pregnancy speculation.
Some users inferred that the second statement, “I’m pregnant,” may in fact be true. One commenter observed, “Everyone’s saying it’s 1 or 3, meaning everyone thinks she’s pregnant.” Another remarked, “You gonna be a Dance Mom.”
Additional reactions praised Ms. Siwa’s tone and comedic delivery, with comments such as, “Not you addressing the pregnancy rumors in the most hilarious fashion,” and “Joelle, not you egging on the pregnant rumors. You’re too funny.” Others supported her approach, stating, “She’s brilliant—smiling her way through life is the key,” and “She’s doing it in style and hitting the silly rumors out of the park.”
The speculation has also prompted a wave of user-generated content on TikTok, where fans have shared personal reactions and commentary on the ongoing rumors.
Ms. Siwa has previously discussed her aspirations for motherhood in a 2024 interview with Cosmopolitan, where she openly expressed her desire to become a parent in the future.
In a prior interview, Ms. JoJo Siwa elaborated on her long-term family planning goals, stating that she intends to have three children simultaneously through the use of surrogacy. Acknowledging the distinct considerations involved in family planning as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she explained: “Because I’m gay and I have to plan a pregnancy much differently than a straight person, I actually want to take three eggs, fertilize three eggs, and have three surrogates.”
She further clarified that although the children would be conceived from the same batch of embryos, they would be carried by different surrogates and potentially born on separate days. “Then maybe their little birthdays will land on different days and they can be like triplets—but, like, not,” she remarked.
Ms. Siwa concluded with a firm expression of intent, stating: “My three babies will be here in three years, whether you like it or not.”
In addition to discussing her future as a parent, Ms. Siwa is actively promoting her latest musical release—a cover of Kim Carnes’ classic Bette Davis Eyes—which launched on Instagram on Thursday.
Last month, during an interview with E! News, Ms. Siwa also addressed public curiosity surrounding her sexuality in the context of her developing relationship with Love Island alumnus Chris Hughes. It was publicly confirmed in June that the singer and television personality had entered a romantic relationship, following their initial meeting on Celebrity Big Brother U.K. in April 2025.
Ms. Siwa publicly came out in 2021 as part of the LGBTQ+ community, initially identifying as pansexual before later defining herself as lesbian. In her most recent comments, however, she emphasized the inclusive nature of the term “queer,” stating: “I think the most beautiful term now is queer. I think queer is an umbrella of, ‘Look, I’m just me.’”#newsafro_
