Several days following Mr. Vin Diesel’s public declaration that the late actor Paul Walker will feature in the concluding installment of the Fast & Furious film franchise, Mr. Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, was observed in public.
Ms. Walker, aged 26—the daughter of Mr. Walker and his longtime friend Ms. Rebecca Soteros—was seen in the company of friends in the Soho district of Manhattan on Monday.
Although Ms. Walker has not issued a public statement regarding Mr. Diesel’s announcement, a segment of the fanbase has expressed disapproval of the decision to reintroduce the late actor’s character in the franchise’s final film.
Ms. Meadow Walker was observed wearing a white cropped top that revealed her midriff, with her dark hair styled in a bun. She carried a small handbag over her right shoulder and accessorized with understated silver hoop earrings and a silver bracelet.
For the outing, Ms. Walker completed her attire with dark blue denim short shorts and black flat shoes, as she walked alongside companions in the Soho area.
Ms. Meadow Walker spent her early childhood residing in Hawaii with her mother, Ms. Rebecca Soteros. In 2011, at the age of 13, she relocated to Los Angeles to live with her father, the late actor Mr. Paul Walker.
Tragically, Mr. Walker died in a motor vehicle accident in November 2013 at the age of 40. The fatal incident led to multiple legal proceedings, including a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Ms. Walker against Porsche AG, the manufacturer of the vehicle in which Mr. Walker had been a passenger.
Both Ms. Walker and her paternal grandfather, Mr. Paul Walker III, obtained out-of-court settlements from Porsche. Additionally, Ms. Walker received a $10.6 million settlement stemming from a wrongful death action initiated by Mr. Walker III against the estate of Mr. Roger Rodas, the driver of the vehicle, who also perished in the crash.
Ms. Walker began her professional modeling career in 2017 after signing with DNA Models. She later made a cameo appearance in the 2023 motion picture Fast X, portraying a flight attendant.
In June 2025, Ms. Walker publicly commemorated Father’s Day with an emotional tribute to her late father, shared via Instagram. The post read: ‘Happy Father’s Day to my guardian angel. Thank you for your love, guidance, and for truly being the most incredible dad and my best friend. I miss you every day, my sunshine. I love you.’
The announcement regarding Mr. Walker’s posthumous appearance in the final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise was made by Mr. Vin Diesel—both star and producer of the series—during a public appearance at Fuel Fest in Pomona on a recent Saturday, eliciting an enthusiastic response from the audience.#newsafro_
