Mr. Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson, a known adversary of Mr. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has recently directed critical remarks toward Mr. Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter, the spouse of Ms. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.
Following Mr. Combs’ highly publicized legal challenges amid allegations of sexual misconduct—which he formally denies—Mr. Jackson has publicly mocked Mr. Combs with sustained commentary.
Mr. Combs, aged 55, is presently undergoing trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, to which he has entered a plea of not guilty. Notably, Ms. Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, a former associate of Mr. Combs, has provided testimony concerning Mr. Combs’ involvement in parties characterized as ‘freak offs.’
Earlier this week, Mr. Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson disseminated a digitally altered image, purportedly inspired by the proceedings of the second day of Mr. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ongoing federal trial.
Subsequently, Mr. Jackson extended his public disparagement to include Mr. Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter, who is known to have maintained a longstanding friendship with Mr. Combs.
Mr. Jackson posted a series of photographic images depicting Mr. Carter and Mr. Combs together, accompanied by the 1980 musical track Just The Two Of Us, originally performed by Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers.
Representatives for Mr. Carter and Mr. Combs have been contacted by Newsafro.com for comment. In his social media caption, Mr. Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson referenced an unverified implication purportedly made by Ms. Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura during her testimony on Wednesday. Ms. Ventura suggested that Mr. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs threatened to cause damage to the automobile of rapper Mr. Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi in response to what Ms. Ventura described as a “brief relationship” between Mr. Mescudi and herself.
Ms. Ventura previously mentioned this alleged threat in her 2023 civil lawsuit against Mr. Combs, which was abruptly resolved following a $20 million settlement payment by Mr. Combs. In that lawsuit, Ms. Ventura asserted that “Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway” around the time Mr. Combs purportedly threatened such action. A spokesperson for Mr. Mescudi publicly affirmed the truth of Ms. Ventura’s account in November 2023.
It is important to note that neither Ms. Ventura nor Mr. Mescudi have made any public allegations implicating Mr. Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter in connection with the alleged incident involving the vehicle.
Nonetheless, Mr. Jackson’s recent social media post concerning Mr. Combs and Mr. Carter contained the statement: “Friends till the end, Jay you still there? We blew up Kid Cudi’s car to show him who’s the BOSS! LOL.”
Additionally, an anonymous plaintiff filed suit against Mr. Carter in December 2024, alleging that both Mr. Carter and Mr. Combs sexually assaulted her in the year 2000, when she was 13 years old. Mr. Carter has categorically denied these allegations, and the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed her claim in February 2025.
Subsequently, Mr. Carter initiated a defamation lawsuit against the plaintiff and her attorney, Mr. Tony Buzbee, which the defendants have denied.#newsafro_
