A human rights advocacy group, The Critical Thinkers, has formally petitioned the coroner’s court to compel a forensic analysis of the mobile phone records belonging to all individuals in the proximity of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, within the 48-hour period preceding his death.
In a statement issued by its spokesperson, Toby Bart, and obtained by PUNCH Metro on Sunday, the group raised concerns over what it described as significant inconsistencies and contradictions arising during the ongoing coroner’s inquest.
Mr. Bart further urged the court to summon the management of the initial medical facility where the deceased was admitted, emphasizing the need for clarity and transparency. He referenced discrepancies between the testimony of Dr. Chigozie Iwuala of Perez Medicare Hospital and public statements made by Mohbad’s partner, Wunmi Adebanjo, suggesting the possibility of material contradictions that warrant deeper forensic scrutiny.#newsafro_
