Margot Robbie was spotted on the set of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, wearing a striking off-the-shoulder wedding gown that exuded dramatic elegance.
The 36-year-old actress is set to portray Catherine Earnshaw in Emerald Fennell’s £62 million adaptation of Wuthering Heights, starring alongside Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff.
Seen strolling across the misty moors, she captivated in a dramatic off-the-shoulder gown with a voluminous skirt. The filming comes just months after she welcomed her first child.
Margot Robbie’s bridal ensemble was completed with a flowing veil that trailed behind her in the breeze, along with a bouquet of roses, as she filmed scenes for Wuthering Heights.
Production began in January, with the film scheduled for release in February 2026. Margot’s production company, LuckyChap, is backing the project, having previously collaborated with director Emerald Fennell on Saltburn and Promising Young Woman. While plot details remain undisclosed, Fennell, 38, will once again take the helm.
Margot and co-star Jacob Elordi have previously worked together on See You at 5, a short film directed by Call Me by Your Name filmmaker Luca Guadagnino for Chanel No. 5’s latest campaign.
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Margot praised Elordi, saying, “He’s wonderful. I worked with him on Saltburn in a producer-actor capacity, so I haven’t shared the screen with him before, but I’ve seen him on set. He has an incredible presence.”
She added, “He’s a movie star—he’s got that charisma. He holds a frame. He’s also really lovely and from the same state as me in Australia. We grew up about an hour apart—he’s from Brisbane, and I’m from the Gold Coast.”
Speaking about their Chanel collaboration, she noted, “Even though the whole point of our film is that we cross paths and miss each other, it still felt like we did the campaign together.”#newsafro_
